The condition manifests itself with painful sensations on the inner side of the elbow, sometimes radiating even to further areas of the arm. Although the pain may initially be very mild, it can lead to complete limitation of movement activities. Sometimes patients experience pain even at rest.
Golfer's elbow - causes
The most common cause of the condition is sports activities or professional work that excessively strain the elbow over a long period. Enthesopathy of the forearm flexor attachment, colloquially known as golfer's elbow, is caused by repetitive, frequently performed movements. Athletes are mainly exposed to medial epicondylitis of the humerus, but also office and administrative workers, or painters, for example.

Golfer's elbow - symptoms
The main symptom is mainly pain. How to recognize it? You may suspect golfer's elbow if:
- you feel severe pain on the middle side of the elbow joint,
- you notice pain during activities such as gripping, throwing, carrying,
- you experience tenderness of the elbow,
- you notice weakness or stiffness of individual limb elements (wrist, hand, fingers),
- tingling or even numbness in the forearm may also occur.
Golfer's elbow - treatment

- temporary cessation of activities that trigger pain and rest,
- using a stabilizer - it will help relieve the elbow,
- ice packs - will reduce pain,
- seek a specialist who will prescribe appropriate treatment.
