Dr. Adam Durma is a specialist physician in endocrinology and andrology, and is currently undergoing specialist training in nuclear medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Military Medicine at the Medical University of Łódź with an outstanding grade point average of 4.56, ranking first among military medical students and third among all students in his cohort.
His academic background also includes completion of two postgraduate programs: Healthcare Management and Management and Leadership of a Medical Institution within the Ministry of National Defence.
Since 2016, Dr. Durma has been affiliated with the Military Institute of Medicine (WIM). After completing his postgraduate internship, he began his clinical work at the Department of Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Endocrinology and Isotope Therapy. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor and Course Coordinator at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Warsaw.
He has broadened his clinical experience through work in endocrinology outpatient clinics and primary care, as well as through active participation in clinical research, including trials involving osilodrostat.
Dr. Durma is a co-translator of the Oxford Handbook of Endocrinology and the author of numerous publications in both Polish and international peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a member of the Polish Endocrine Society, the Polish Andrological Society, and the Polish Society of Nuclear Medicine.
He is experienced in performing thyroid, abdominal and testicular ultrasound examinations, thyroid biopsies, and laser ablation of thyroid nodules.
