Dr. Katarzyna Marczyk is a specialist in allergology working at the Department of Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Allergology, Clinical Immunology and Rare Diseases at the Military Institute of Medicine – National Research Institute (Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defence) in Warsaw.
In her daily practice, she diagnoses and treats patients with a full spectrum of allergic diseases, combining clinical experience with the latest medical standards. She manages conditions such as allergic rhinitis, chronic cough, urticaria, shortness of breath, and bronchial asthma. She performs allergy testing, including skin prick tests and blood tests, and conducts allergen immunotherapy (desensitization) using both subcutaneous (SCIT) and sublingual (SLIT) methods.
In April 2025, she successfully passed the State Specialization Examination in Allergology with a very good result—achieving the third highest score in Poland and receiving exemption from the oral part of the examination. This achievement reflects her up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge as well as strong practical preparation in modern allergology.
She graduated with a very good result from the Faculty of Military Medicine at the Medical University of Łódź and from the Military University of Land Forces in Wrocław. She serves as an officer in the Polish Armed Forces with the rank of Captain.
Dr. Marczyk actively participates in national and international scientific conferences, continuously developing her professional qualifications.
She is a member of the Polish Society of Allergology (PTA) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
