He graduated from the Second Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw and obtained his medical license in 2012. He subsequently began a specialization in cardiac surgery at the State Medical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Warsaw, earning the title of specialist in 2019. In 2022, he obtained a PhD in medical and health sciences after pursuing doctoral studies at the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw. During this time, he completed internships at European Cardiac Surgery Clinics in Italy and England and led international scientific projects in the field of cardiac surgery. He is a member of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS).
Currently, he serves as the Coordinator of the Operating Block at the Department of Cardiac Surgery and Transplantology of the State Medical Institute in Warsaw.
His main skills and interests include innovative robotic and minimally invasive procedures in cardiac surgery, such as:
- Robotic coronary artery surgery using the da Vinci robotic system,
- Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), including alternative access routes,
- Endoscopic, minimally invasive aortic valve surgery,
- Endoscopic, minimally invasive mitral and tricuspid valve surgery, as well as arrhythmia correction,
- Complex and high-risk cardiac surgeries,
- Life-saving operations for thoracic aortic dissection and aortic aneurysms.
