Psycho-oncologist Warsaw and Płock
Psycho-oncology is an interdisciplinary branch of clinical psychology focusing on the emotional, cognitive and social functioning of people affected by cancer and their families. Psycho-oncological support helps to:
- cope with anxiety, stress and emotional burden,
- adapt to the diagnosis and treatment-related changes,
- improve quality of life during and after oncological therapy,
- support loved ones caring for the patient.
Psycho-oncological consultations are particularly important at every stage of the illness – from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, to recovery – and can be carried out in person or as online appointments.
